In one of the saddest chapters of the recent mass shooting at Brown, a student of Palestinian descent has been subjected to vicious and unfounded attacks from right wing influencers insinuating that they were connected to the shooting. Let’s counteract this hatred with messages of love and support to the Muslim and Palestinian communities at Brown. In the midst of the horrible trauma of this past week, we were deeply saddened to see a Brown student falsely accused and targeted because of their identity. We write to express our solidarity with the Muslim and Palestinian communities at Brown. We stand with you against this kind of dangerous bigotry and in support of the safety and dignity of all students.
