Keep Brown Safe from ICE

ICE’s aggressive, violent, and often unlawful conduct has wreaked havoc in communities across the country. Now, they’re bringing their campaign of terror to universities, including last week’s warrant-less abduction of a Columbia grad student. Brown can’t control ICE, but the university can take concrete steps to ensure its campus remains a safe environment for all students, faculty, and staff. We know from this past year it will take a big push from across the Brown community to make this happen. Please add your voice.

Brown must do everything in its power to protect immigrant and international students from ICE. This includes: rejecting ICE cooperation agreements, limiting information sharing, creating clear signage for private spaces, training Campus Security, planning for ICE incursions, disclosing any leadership ties to ICE, and prohibiting ICE recruitment.
